Dr. Green is a visionary leader with over a decade of dedicated service in reforming the administration of justice, particularly for marginalized communities. Her unwavering commitment to racial and social justice stems from her early experiences supporting loved ones navigating the complexities of the criminal legal system and grappling with community gun violence. Throughout her career, Dr. Green has been a tireless advocate, researcher, evaluator, and provider of technical assistance, all aimed at dismantling inequitable systems and fostering fair treatment for all individuals.

As the Associate Director of Engagement and Assessment at the Everytown Community Safety Fund, the nation’s largest funding source for community-based violence intervention (CVI), she is pivotal in advancing and scaling effective violence prevention programs across the country. In her role, Dr. Green specializes in crafting dynamic community-based participatory work products, ranging from concise fact sheets to in-depth research articles and captivating case studies, to ensure that initiatives are well-informed and impactful. Dr. Green's collaborative spirit shines through as she works closely with grantees, leading targeted engagement efforts to shape overarching strategies, refine capacity-building initiatives, and develop impactful work products. She extends her influence beyond organizational boundaries, forging partnerships with city leaders and elected officials to scale local community-based violence intervention (CVI) ecosystems. Dr. Green's unwavering dedication to fostering partnerships and mobilizing collective action exemplifies her commitment to effecting transformative change in communities nationwide.

Before Everytown, Dr. Green served as a Senior Research Associate at Justice System Partners, overseeing a diverse portfolio focused on pretrial reform initiatives across multiple jurisdictions nationwide.  Additionally, she led as a key technical assistance provider, supporting the implementation of public health approaches to address community violence. Before that role, as a Research Associate at the Vera Institute of Justice, Dr. Green led qualitative research efforts evaluating bail reform in New York State. She also played an instrumental role in advocating for parole board reform and campaigning for the closure of Rikers Island. Dr. Green holds a Bachelor's magna cum laude in Criminal Justice from Adelphi University, a Master's in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany, SUNY, and a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
